Bladder Problem. Possibly Interstitial Cystitis?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

Last week I started to feel mild pressures on my bladder/vagina and it didn’t seem to bother much. And it went away for a little bit and then came back. But the last 3 days it won’t stop! I’ve tried different meds to reduse the pain.
-Vicodin
-acetaminophen
-cranberry
-acidophilus

I need something for relief like now. Is there anything else I can take or do! And I can’t get out of the house due to bad weather!

If it’s IC than don’t ingest anything acidic like the cranberry pills. If you have baking soda, mix 1/4 tpsn in a glass of water and drink. You can do this a couple times a day. This will help reduce the acidity of your urine. I would suggest going to a urologist asap so they can run tests and hopefully rule out IC, since this is a non-curable disease. I’ve had it for 2 years so I know how you feel. Good Luck!
