can cystitis transmit via sex?

been having problem after sex, scrotal pain, swelling on the right, smelly discharge, dysuria, pelvic pain. i went to the gum no std was found via naat and swab test. the doc thought it was musxoskeletal disorder and refered me to urology clinic initial test didn’t reveal any std i am pending ultrasound and a 2nd consultation next month. however recently my partner was diagnosed to have kidney stones and cystitis and given antiobiotics. does cystitis remain asymptomatic for a length of time in some people but not others ? the ultimate question is, are my symptoms related to cystitis does it spread thru sex ?

No. At least not how you might be thinking.

Cystitis is inflammation of the urinary bladder. Most often is it cause by the bacteria E. coli. In can occur from improper hygiene and anal intercourse. This bacteria is cleared from the urinary tract after about three days of antibiotic therapy (courses of antibiotics are given for ten days to help minimize the chance of recurrence).

Your symptoms (to me, anyways) sound more like a yeast infection, which is caused by the fungus Candida albicans. Like E. coli, it is apart of natural flora living in the large intestine; it can be transmitted by both anal and vaginal (if C. albicans has colonized the vagina) intercourse.
