UTI Remedy Report

Does this sound like an STD?

Alright, so a little background: I am a female, and I’ve had two male "partners." The first one I only had handjobs with and that was over a year ago. The second I had oral with twice, and that was seven months ago, no condom (stupid I know, please don’t comment if you are only going to scold me).

About a month or two ago, I went to my doctor because I felt a small bump down there and I was experiencing some itching and tingling sensation. She gave me a pelvic exam and said that the bump seemed only like an ingrown hair or irritation and would disappear in a few days. She attributed the itching to a new soap I was using and told me to check to see if it would stop. So a few days pass and everything goes away.

A few weeks later I felt some pain that at first seemed like a UTI, but I had no other symptoms of UTI (no pain when urinating, no frequent bathroom use…). I ate a ton of cranberries and it seemed to go away.

A few weeks after that, so now, I am still drinking a lot of cranberry juice out of paranoia but I am feeling some vaginal pain again. It’s hard to place where it is exactly, but it’s definitely under the public bone and not the urethra. After a few days of experiencing it several times a day within the course of an hour or two a day, I decided to see the doctor again. She gave me a pelvic exam again and said everything looks normal to her. She also said I do not have the right history to have an STD, but tested me for HIV and mono (both negative).

I am still a bit worried because most STDs can show no symptoms at all, or none until they get into the more serious stages. Does this sound like an STD to anyone? Or is there any non-STD explanation to all of this?

that is weird. She tells you that you dont have the right history!! Yes you do if you have had sex. You need to be tested for STD’s. Do not let the Doc tell you any diffrent. Good Luck.

Scenting or a urinary tract infection?
