Hi, this story is a bit conveluted so please bear with me.
I had unprotected sex with a girl a few weeks ago. She is the only person I have slept with in many months.
Exactly one week after, I had thick white discharge from my penis in the morning. We both immediately went to the doctor, but since I don’t have insurance only she could get tested (even though she had no symptoms).
We had to wait one week for her results, but in the meantime the doctor gave us both Azithromycin. The medicine never cleared up my discharge, however.
This morning she got the results back, which were NEGATIVE for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, etc.
So why do I still have discharge? Is it a UTI? Or can she be carrying something else that she gave to me that the doctor failed to test for?
There is no Planned Parenthood around here, so please don’t suggest it. And I can’t afford testing without insurance. Someone recommended me Minocycline, to cover all STDs, but of course I can’t get it without a script.
I truly don’t believe this to be a yeast infection. The girl very clearly does NOT have a yeast infection, nor did the doctor point one out. And most of the symptoms of penile yeast infection I DON’T have except the discharge. I’m inclined to also agree that it’s Trick. Any other opinions, please share!

In your case you have something called a male yeast Infection Heres more info about:

A male yeast infection normally occurs after sexual contact or intercourse with women who have the yeast infection. These yeast infections are minor problems. Male yeast infections can be treated with ointments and anti fungal creams. There are many prescription drugs available in the market which are known to treat penile yeast infections. Such yeast infection is also called as Candidiasis.

Such yeast infections are more commonly seen in women. Almost thirty percent of women will face yeast infections at some point of their lives. The greatest factor due to which men face yeast infection is due to sexual intercourse with a woman who has yeast infection.

Diabetics and uncircumcised men are at a greater risk of getting male yeast infection. It is not a compulsion that men who have had sexual contact with women having yeast infections will get infected. Since the foreskin holds more moisture, men who have not undergone circumcision have a greater risk of getting a yeast infection. HIV positive men also face a great risk of getting yeast infections. Male yeast infections may even occur in the oral cavity.

In the case of gay men, the use of condoms are known to attribute to yeast infections. The lubricant containing nonoxynol-9 can also act as a contributing factor to anal yeast infections. Nonoxynol-9 is known to contribute to the development of vaginal yeast infection in women too.

Male yeast infections can also occur due to the prolonged use of antibiotics. These bacteria can kill the bacteria that keep the growth of the fungus Candida Albans in check. Therefore, the fungus will grow quickly

Male yeast infection occurs when yeast bacteria enters the penis. Some of the symptoms of having a yeast infection in males are jock itch, severe itching and pain, burning sensation during intercourse and while passing urine, red color at the head of the penis, a clumpy, white discharge, soreness and itching at the head of the penis, red patches and blisters and a burning sensation at the tip of the penis and transient itch.

The other indications of male yeast infections are bad breath, constipation, indigestion, frequent intestinal gas, abnormal loose stools, sexual dysfunction, mood swings, frequent fatigue and loss of energy, irritability, prostrate problems, athlete’s feet, bloating, indigestion and in extreme cases, memory loss.

Male yeast infection can also occur in young boys. In the incident that feces touches the penis, the bacteria in the feces can cause a yeast infection. Diaper rash can also cause penile yeast infection. Damp clothing is another reason of such penile yeast infection, because the dampness provides an excellent atmosphere for the bacteria to grow and multiply. Children also face a chronic oral cavity yeast infection, in which there are white patches around the mouth. This generally happens between age six and nine.

Male yeast infection can occur in men of all ages. However, men who are sexually active or engage in certain sexual activities are more prone to male yeast infections. Such yeast infections can also be transmitted sexually during unprotected sexual intercourse.

However, if your female sexual partner is infected with a yeast infection, then it is always suggested to get your self checked for male yeast infections.

Men generally get infected with yeast infections due to the females. If the female has herself treated for yeast infections, while the male hasn’t, chances are that the female may have yeast infections during the next sexual intercourse. Therefore, till the time both partners have not checked and cured their yeast infections, it will be a vicious circle. If men are facing yeast infections, they should have their fasting glucose level checked.
