UTI Remedy Report

i need some help please with this medication (sulfatrim)?

today i had to take my year old lab-pit mix to the vet due to a uniary tract infection (uti)…the vet gave me a medicine called (sulfatrim) for the infection..i need to know (from serious pet owners please) on ways i can give it to her.

i tried dissolving it with milk, but she caught on REAL quick..
straight down the throat? or what kind of simple food would you recommend…

the vet was in and out rather fast..and i did not get to ask what method would be the best…only serious answers please!!….greatly appreciated
thanks for all the answers..one chosen great, but all are good!!!….sideboom

Open her mouth, tip her head back & put the pill as far into the back of her throat as you can. Keep her head up & rub her throat until she swallows. If she manages to spit the pill out it means you didn’t get it far enough back in her throat. Try again.
